The Kingdom of God
Building the Kingdom of God
Gonzaga Barry was a true contributor to the building of the Kingdom of God. She followed Mary Ward, shaping women's education around the world, and setting up Loreto schools in Australia. Her kingdom of God included women's right to equality and education. In doing this, she set up many schools in Australia on her voyage with the Loreto Sisters.
Being a Disciple of Jesus
Mother Mary taught many about being a disciple of Jesus and what it meant. Especially her students at the Loreto schools in Australia. She taught them that, no matter who you are or what you believe in, there is always a place for you in Jesus' heart. He will nurture you and you will learn from him the ways his disciples did when he was in Earth. He will teach you the ways of God and help you discover what you were supposed to do on Earth; what you were made for. Being a disciple of Jesus means that you are a believer and a follower that trusts God and teaches others.
Helping others Realise
Mary taught her students that no matter who they were, they were always considered a part of the Kingdom of God. She told them that they would always be accepted, and they would help shape His kingdom with whatever good they contributed to.
